Our committees provide a terrific opportunity to help guide activities and support our members. See the information below to get involved.
Awards
The SBN Awards Committee invites society members to join our committee (3-year term). The Awards Committee administers the society’s awards that recognize excellence in behavioral neuroendocrine research, mentoring, and service to the field. Committee responsibilities include identifying the criteria for assessing applications for awards and applying those criteria to materials submitted for each award. Committee members should be actively engaged in SBN activities and regularly attend annual meetings. Busy time is February-May. Email smeerts@carleton.edu if interested!
Professional Development
The SBN Professional Development Committee invites society members to join our committee (3-year term). We are seeking committee members who (1) will help develop informational workshops and seminars for SBN members of all career stages during the academic year and for the annual meeting and (2) are clearly committed to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion within SBN.
